From the start of the session 2013-2014, PakTurk Schools have started a guidance & training program for its parents to teach about the techniques to do “Effective Parenting”. In this regard PakTurk Lahore Islampura Branch organized six seminars during the session. Ms. Humera Nadeem & Ms. Asma Husnain conducted these seminars, three each, in an effective & superb way.
On January 25, 2014 the sixth and the last seminar of the session was organized at Town Hall, The Mall. The topic of this seminar was “Stress & Anxiety in Exams”. Ms. Asma Husnain conducted and explained the issues & problems related with examination with their solutions. The program started with the name of Allah and recitation & translation of Holy Quran was done by Zaryab Khan & Rafia Nasir. Haseeb from Class 5 presented a beautiful Naat. After the National Anthems of Pakistan & Turkey parents were asked about their opinion related with the efforts regarding these seminars. They told that they are learning about “Changed Behaviour” which should be adopted by them. They appreciated the management and paid their hearty thanks to provide them opportunity to learn a lot about Responsibility & Self Confidence, Effective Study Techniques, Role of Family in Child Development, Significance of Games & Toys in Child Development, Stress & Anxiety in Exams and Child Neglect & Abuse.
After the seminar the second part of program started in which Certificates were given to the students of Junior Section who have read maximum number of 200 Essential Books and amplified their reading abilities during the session. The students of Pre Section, Class KG, were also given Certificates of “I Can Read & Write”. The faces of students were glowing with excitement & glee. Their parents were also sharing feeling of achievement with their children. At the end the Principal expressed his sincere thanks for the cooperation and participation of the parents and the efforts done by the honourable staff members who made these events really memorable for all.
